Science Kit Pricing Structure for 2024-2025

Late Kit Fines: $50/week
*Unless previously arranged, kits that are not returned on the pick up date are subject to this weekly fine. (Schools have 1 school week after pick-up date to return the kit to the warehouse to avoid fines.)
Elementary Kits (K-5)
- Grades K-2 are designed to be used by 1 classroom of up to 24 students.
- Grades 3-5 are designed to be used by 1 classroom of up to 30 students.
Included:
- Elementary kits (K-5) have the option to add an extension mini-kit of the same theme/concepts to be used during the refurbishment period.
- Digital access to curriculum (including Spanish language worksheets)
- NEW! Use of our new "STEM Materials Library" which offers a menu of items you'll be able to check out such as microscopes, robotics, 3D printers, etc. (Some of these items will need training prior to checking out.)
- Professional Development opportunities in a variety of STEM-related topics.
Middle School Kits (6-8)
Middle school kits are designed for a traditional lab setting. Each middle school unit supports up to 32 students in a traditional lab setting. We offer titles from two different curricula (OpenSciEd and Carolina), which results in the different pricing for middle school titles.
*Pricing Change for MS: For schools currently in the kit cooperative and have already bought into middle school titles, as long as they continue to use that same title, the cost would be $360/class/year. For schools new to the cooperative, or existing schools who are adding a new title or changing to one they have not used before, the kit price is $425 or $525 depending on the curriculum chosen.
Middle School Class Set Explanation
Additional Class Sets may be ordered for middle school teachers using STC-MS units who teach multiple sections of the same class. Each set includes consumable materials to support up to 32 students.
