Website Services & Support

WordleMany districts in our region are using either Schoolwires or EdLine/Blackboard Engage hosted services as the basis for their school's website. In the past, we provided support and training at no charge; however, that funding source is no longer available, so we have moved to a fee-for-service model. Because districts will have individual needs, we will be glad to create a customized services and support package upon request.

A district's web support package may include, but isn't limited to, the following services:

  • District-wide phone support for website technical assistance.
  • Where applicable, provide online, interactive demonstrations to help district web administrators and staff gain skills and knowledge as they develop or update their district, building or classroom website.
  • Provide instruction and support for creating web-friendly graphics, PDF documents and other online materials.
  • Collaborate on developing an online presence for parent communications.
  • Support the use of social media as a communications tool.
  • Provide on-site training or presentations based on district or building needs.

For small districts, those under 500 FTE, that want an online presence, but can't afford a commercially-hosted solution, we can help develop a free site using Google Sites, WordPress.com or other hosted platforms. There is a one-time charge for design and development services based on district size; training and on-going support can also be arranged.
