Fingerprinting Services

NEWESD 101 provides digital fingerprinting services for individuals in Washington State that are obtaining a teaching certificate, are or will be a school district employee, or are enrolled in a college or university program that requires clearance prior to beginning field experience in a school setting.

Fingerprinting services are done, by appointment only, every Wednesday and Thursday and are booked in fifteen minute increments both days. Effective May 1, 2018, the fingerprinting fee will be $70.00 and can be paid with a Visa, MasterCard, cashier’s check, or money order. You will also need to bring a valid form of photo identification, which can be your driver’s license, state issued I.D. card, passport, or military I.D. card.

NEWESD 101’s digital fingerprinting technology submits the scanned images directly to the Washington State Patrol. After additional review by the FBI, fingerprint records are then held by OSPI.

Due to this technology we ask that you not schedule an appointment if you are suffering from cuts, wounds, or injuries to your hands or are experiencing general ill health. We also ask that another adult accompany you if you are bringing a small child.

To schedule an appointment call 789-3800 Monday through Friday or you can call our fingerprint technician, Connie Adams, at 789-3502 every Wednesday and Thursday. Our office is located at 4202 South Regal Street in Spokane, WA.
